Pre-admission

In order to welcome you in the best possible conditions on the day of your admission, you will be asked to go to the pre-admission service as soon as you have completed the consultation prior to your hospitalization with your surgeon or doctor.

 

The necessary parts

 

Before your stay at the Denis private hospital and your anesthesia consultation, you must pre-register with the pre-admission service. This step will make it easier to manage your admission. To do this, you must bring the following documents depending on your situation:

  • the “request for admission” form given by your surgeon,
  • the CGHS Card and/or its certificate,
  • Insurance comoany card
  • an ID,
  • the estimate of fees from practitioners.

And optionally :

  • the valid CMU (Universal Health Coverage) and/or AME (State Medical Aid) certificate,
  • part 1 of work accident,
  • for minor children, the family record book.

 

General conditions of hospitalization

 

During your pre-admission, the hostess informs you of the general conditions linked to your hospitalization: hotel supplements depending on the choice of services you wish to benefit from, the date and time of entry planned for your hospitalization, and entry formalities.

 

The pre-anesthesia consultation

 

  • Once the date of your hospitalization has been set by your surgeon, you must make an appointment with the anesthetist.
  • This visit is mandatory for any surgical procedure.
  • It must take place no later than 48 hours before your admission.
  • For this consultation, you must bring the prescription for the current treatments and your test results (ECG, heart ultrasound, etc.).
  • An adult or pediatric anesthesia questionnaire will be given to you to prepare for this consultation.
  • A coordinating nurse will receive you to explain the progress of your stay.

Emergency Entrance and Admission

 

The Emergency entrance of each Silver Image Hospital has an emergency sign outside the entrance doors which is at the back of the Hospital building. All ambulances drive patients to the Emergency entrance and drive the patient on a wheeled strecher inside the Hospital through the Emergency into the ICU where an immidiate assessment is made and marked by the ICU In-charge on the severity of the case and plan of action and nursing and supervisory team and resource allocation. Walking patients may also enter from the Emergency entrance and get themseleves examined in case of an emergency. Please note that in case of ambulance admission, ambulatory costs, and admission may be made during or after the ICU discharge while for all other patients an immdiate registration at the emergency reception with a deposit and patient consent forms signing is required. All new Acid Burns and Road accident cases are treated without fees at all Silver Image hospitals with a deferred registration.
