Outpatient care

Outpatient care is a method of care which has the advantage of reducing hospitalization to a few hours for a surgical procedure. The advantage of this type of support is the return home the same day.

You will be hospitalized as an outpatient. The day before, the service will contact you by telephone and inform you of your summons time.

Practical advice

Before coming, remember to consult the establishment's practical information .

Outpatient treatment conditions

To ensure that your surgical procedure or outpatient examination goes as smoothly as possible, below are the instructions to follow:

  • Be fasting (Do not drink, do not eat even chewing gum, do not smoke or vape)
  • Carry out depilation if necessary using depilatory cream or wax (shaving prohibited)
  • Shower carefully the day before and the same day of the procedure according to your surgeon's instructions.
  • Remove your jewelry (including the wedding ring), piercings, makeup, nail polish (semi-permanent and capsules)
  • Remove your dental and hearing aids.
  • Bring all the necessary documents (blood test, x-ray, scanner, ECG, signed informed consent, authorization to operate for minors, trusted person, usual treatment prescription, etc.).

When you arrive, a nurse checks that all instructions have been followed and validates your outpatient admission.

When you are admitted to the outpatient clinic, for your comfort, do not forget your personal toiletries (shower gel and towels).

The clinic does not provide any linen or toiletries.

     Outpatient admission of minor children

The Silver Image Private Hospital takes care of minor children on an outpatient basis. They must be accompanied by a parent who remains nearby for the entire duration of the day hospitalization.

The authorization to operate must be signed by both parents.

Your exit

As an outpatient, you go home the same day under the following conditions:

- Provide a companion for your return home and plan for the presence of a companion the first night

- For minors, two accompanying persons are required for the return journey home

- Do not drive within 24 hours

The next day, you will receive an SMS with useful numbers to contact us in case of emergency. This allows us to monitor your health after your procedure.
